Welcome to the team Kamaya Rose and Kyler Jacklyn

Today was quite the day! I went with Loni to her dr. appointment and it went great! He told her that she would no longer need to be on bed rest, that she could return to living a normal life! he wanted her to go get monitored on Monday and Thursday and then we would see him again a week from today. As we left his office we  were both very excited to hear how great things sounded and seemed. The fear of having such premature babies seemed to have been lifted... In a matter of very few minutes that fear turned to a reality!! The nurses hooked up the monitor and were telling us how great everything sounded. They said both the girls  sounded as if the were perfect.  Then next thing we knew Loni had an oxygen mask on and they were calling for all the doctors! I asked, "what is going on?" The reply was short and sweet, "you will be having these babies today!"  Come to find out Baby B (Kamaya)  was stressed with each contraction, and her heart did not like that. So long story short at 12:16 today, Monday the 10 of August we had two very beautiful, premature girls enter our team! Loni was such a champ as she went through the emergency c section, and only nearly died once! I am not lying her blood pressure dropped to 40 over 20. Other than that she is an all star and is recovering great! The twins are just like their Mama. The needed Oxygen domes for a short time and are now breathing room air and are doing wonderful. In-fact they are getting their first baths as i am writing this!! Which I found out is a hugh step for little babies in this situation!! You go girls. Ok I will stop. I know it's just the pictures you are wanting. I am just a very proud Dad!!

Both pictures above are of Kamaya Rose

And here is Kyler Jacklyn showing off her sweet I V
Mom and DR. Dad!! Yes I watched but didnt like it so much!! I decided to leave with the girls when they went to put Loni back together!!

Melanie sent me the link to this post. Congrats and welcome to the twin club! My heart goes out to you. This may sound horrible, but enjoy the time they spend in the NICU, these will be your last nights of peace for a long time. If you ever need support, advice, or just need to talk to someone who understands, call me.
